100th Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

I would like to share my latest card with you.

I was asked to make a 100th Birthday for a friends Mum, her requirements were Purple, Lilac, White & Silver, I think I got it about right!

For a long time now I have admired Teresa Allday's cards on FB I checked out her blog and was happy to see she has a tutorial on how she makes her gorgeous cards.

I wanted the card to stand normally so instead of using 2 x 6" cards I kept it to
1 x 6" the triangles were cut from American card stock and
PION design "My Precious Daughter" PD4909, PD4911
with Maja Design Fika for the insert on the front of the card & tag.

The inside of the card is matted and stitched the same as the front, this is a first for me lol,

Flowers are from Kaisercraft & glittered with Ranger Stardust Stickles.

I have to say I am really pleased with how the card turned out, the Design papers just seem to make a lovely card really without trying.

I hope that the lady receiving it has a lovely birthday!

Until next time.. happy crafting

Wedding Fairy Tale Castle - My SVG HUT File

Hi there,

I had a request to make a Wedding card, I used one of the lovely fold up cards by

The requirements of the card were Harley Davidson bike, fluffy dog & glitter
which I have to say is in abundance on this lol.

I chose the Fairy Tale Castle by My SVG HUT as the base for the card as every girl dreams of a Fairy Tale Wedding!

I used X-press it adhesive sheets cut to the size of the back and covered it with clear glitter, the file was cut from American Card stock on my Silhouette Cameo.
For some reason the front didn't cut out in a square (probably user error) so I used Spellbinders Grand Labels One to cut the shape you see.

The Bike and Happy Couple were from the Silhouette on line shop, the Poodle is a Cottage Cut die, the Butterflies are Joy Crafts die.

With lots of Ranger Star Dust Stickles, just a dab here and there ha, ha.

I hope you like my altered Wedding card and I hope that Debbie the Bride likes it!

Happy crafting..

PS. Lady-Ru too as she designed the file!

French & Italian style Canvas's

Hi there,

Below are 2 canvas's I made for my daughter Karen recently.

It was my birthday on the 20th Jan and family came over for lunch, I got some new serviettes for the table and Karen loved the Patisserie one so much she asked for 2 to put into frames to go along side a lovely French wall clock she has in her kitchen..

Needless to say that got me thinking, I had some 8x10 canvas's so here is what I made.

I separated the printed image from the serviette and used Mod Podge to glue it down, I had some BoBunny stick on stencils as a present and I made some of Gabrielle Pollacco's home made Texture Paste, it really is easy, it goes onto the canvas beautifully and no nasty smell!!!

I die cut some French style embellishments and used some chipboard butterflies, BoBunny DoubleDot Pearlescent, BoBunny Glitter paste & Glimmer spray.

I had these serviettes too, we all love Italy, so here is one with an Italian flavour!

This is just a small post today, thought I'd share with you something a little different.
Have to add Karen was rapt with both of them..

Happy crafting

A Special 60th Birthday Card

Hi everyone,

I would like to share a card with you today for a special lady, her daughter Amanda asked me if I would make something, she gave me the following ideas of Lilies, creams, shabby chic and French Bull Dogs and definitely no 60 on it!

I surprised myself with how well this card came together once I had all of the elements, it seemed to make itself lol

Birthday Cards

Hi everyone,

Well, the house is back to normal again the Christmas decorations are away in their boxes until next time, yes, it does look bare but I like..

Here on this post are two cards that I made for Christmas birthdays, the first one was for a friend in the UK. Ive used a lovely PION Design paper "My Precious Daughter" with elements as highlights for the card and lots of Ranger Stardust Stickles.

The second card was for my niece again in the UK, she is mad about the movie "Frozen"
so I've chosen Olaf skating, with snowflakes and stickles.

Until next time, happy crafting..

2 Sweet Heart Boxes

Hi,

Happy New Year,

I would like to share with you a few boxes I have been playing with the first two are for my grand daughters.

Hannah loves anything Pink at nearly 6 years old you would and
Tamara is 4 and is happy with anything, she hasn't got to the age yet where she has favourite things!

I put Lindt chocolates in them and they went down a treat, they loved them!

With this box I used modelling paste with a template, covered it in Gesso, then went over it with gold ink through the template again and then added some Gold leaf, the flower sets it off nicely.

The one had the same treatment with modelling paste, template, covered it with Gold acrylic paint, I used some Mod Podge on a piece of muslin and squeezed it into a shape on the lid of the box. Next I used some Autumn colours of gold leaf on the top and sides, added a chipboard heart, key & padlock covered with the same gilt leaf and two chipboard sentiments.

I hope you like my little offering to start the new year with!

Materials:

Craft boxes from Spotlight
Teresa Collins Basically Essential Modelling Paste
Faber Castell Gesso
Kaiser Craft 12x12 Damask Template
Prima Template #564230
Chroma Acrylic Gold Paint
Prisma Flowers
ScrapMatts Scrap Words

Until next time, happy crafting..
